Wednesday's Kempton best bets and racing tips: William Buick double on cards

Planet Sport tipsters have a fistful of red-hot selections for the evening meeting at Kempton on Wednesday, August 24.

All-weather action in Surrey this Wednesday night, there's a DJ in the track's Sports Bar apparently. Music types are notoriously bad at picking winners, but our selections below will point you in the right direction.

You can get all the latest racecards and results from Kempton by using the Planet Sport live centre, but first here's a quick list of our tips.

17:30 (Kempton) Super Mo

18:00 (Kempton) Non Stop

18:30 (Kempton) Night Glass

19:00 (Kempton) Sense Of Power

19:30 (Kempton) Whimsy

20:00 (Kempton) Sea The Casper

20:30 (Kempton) Brides Bay

17:30 (Kempton) Super Mo

Super Mo made a pleasing start when fourth here on debut earlier this month, but she did look like she'd appreciate further so this extra furlong should suit and she's fancied to get her first victory today with that experience under her belt.

Dubai Mile won nicely at Windsor last time and although the penalty makes life tougher, he can give another good account, while Havanazam looks an interesting newcomer for the Andrew Balding team.

19:00 (Kempton) Sense Of Power

Sense Of Power can maintain Charlie Appleby's blistering run of form and gain a second win in Kempton's Unibet Support Safe Gambling Novice Stakes.

The Godolphin-owned gelding showed promise on his first run over the course and distance when touched off by subsequent winner Laasudood in maiden company.

He made no mistake on his belated return at Newmarket last month when beating odds-on favourite Royal Parade, who is in the same ownership.

That one franked the form with ease at Yarmouth next time and Sense Of Power should take a bit of beating in this slightly better race, with champion-elect William Buick in the saddle.

20:00 (Kempton) Sea The Casper

Sea The Casper was a dual 10-furlong winner earlier this year, he was far from disgraced in better company on quick ground at Ascot last time.

While subsequently gelded, upped an extra furlong on a surface that should suit, he may have too much for his rivals in the Unibet 3 Uniboosts A Day Handicap.

William Buick partners again and will have to see off competition from Wandering Rocks, Tathbeet and Bizarre Law who could also make the frame.
