Tuesday's Stratford racing tips: Larusso looking to ditch maiden tag

Planet Sport tipsters are in Stratford for the evening jumps meeting on Tuesday, June 28.

It might be the Flat season but there's always time for a cheeky bit of jumps action once in a while, especially for those missing the National Hunt campaign.

Here's a quick run through our hot tips for Tuesday, you can get all the latest racecards and results in the Planet Sport race centre.

18:20 Stratford- Calva D'Auge

18:50 Stratford - Dino Velvet

19:20 Stratford - Justified

19:50 Stratford - On Springs

20:20 Stratford - Larusso

20:50 Stratford - Mactavish

18:20 Stratford- Calva D'Auge

Calva D'Auge looks the class act on show in the opening Stratford Supporting Racing Staff Week Novices' Chase.

The 142-rated hurdler came off second best in a match when odds-on for his chasing debut at Kempton at the start of May, but should be better for the experience and can reward those who keep the faith.

19:20 Stratford - Justified

Une De La Seniere finished well when runner-up at Worcester on her latest start and holds good claims. However, she may have to play second fiddle to Justified, who showed improved form when winning in good style at Huntingdon last time.
Mr Yeats continued his progression when a close second at the same venue earlier this month and can also make his presence felt.

20:20 Stratford - Larusso

This could be the perfect opportunity for Larusso to lose his maiden tag.
The five-year-old recently lost out by a neck at Uttoxeter, but he has been nothing but progressive since making the switch to timber this season, so further improvement should not be ruled out.
Barenboim is less experienced over hurdles but could go close, while The Plumber showed promise on his hurdling bow and could also make his presence felt.
