We go over the sticks at Southwell for the Tuesday evening meeting on July 18, and the Planet Sport tipsters have another hatful of potential winners.

17:35 (Southwell) Sharp Note

Point-to-point winner Touch Tight ran well in third over course and distance last month and races off 3lb lower here, while Young Wolf gets his ground and has won off much higher marks, though they were back in 2020 and he needs to bounce back to nearer that level.

Both can get involved, but Sharp Note won a shade cosily at Newton Abbot on only her second start over fences and if she continues to progress, she may follow up in this field with Michael Nolan keeping the ride.

18:35 (Southwell) Wick Green

The in-form Wick Green can complete a hat-trick in the Connie White Memorial Handicap Chase.

Ben Pauling's veteran was a 10-length winner at Worcester in May and then defied an 8lb rise to follow up over course and distance earlier this month.
He was a commanding four lengths ahead of the field then and can prove he has even more in the locker despite a further 5lb rise.

19:40 (Southwell) Young Merlin

Young Merlin made a successful switch from the Flat to strike readily over track and trip last month and is tough to oppose for Amy Murphy in the At The Races App Form Study Novices' Hurdle.

20:10 (Southwell) Pure Surf

Pure Surf was no match for an easy winner here when attempting to back up her Cartmel success under a penalty.

The manner of her recent performances suggest another try at 3m is justified and the mare is capable of going one better today.
She's All In Gold could have more to offer after her second over course and distance last month, while Faerie Cutlass and Betty's Belle can fight it out for the places.
