As we know, Pete loves a bit of value but sometimes has to concede in the face of true class and that is what the Godolphin runner Walk Of Stars has in abundance.

A solid winner last out at Newbury in the Dubai Duty Free Golf World Cup British EBF Conditions Stakes, the Dubawi Colt should have too much in the SBK Derby Trial Stakes.

Here is why Pete thinks that Walk Of Stars can shine at Lingfield.
"Walk Of Stars is hard to oppose, another Appleby runner Natural World is a brilliant horse and won on debut and even one or two others have a decent chance including Zecharia for example but I don't see how Walk Of Stars is beaten."
"Yes is likely to go off as short priced favourite but I think on this occasion you can't take this horse on."

15.15 Mystic Wells

Pete is keen on the young Newmarket trainer George Boughey and his Mystic Wells in the SBK Oaks Trial Fillies' Stakes.

The Kitten's Joy filly was a game winner last time out at Brighton.
Here's a snapshot of why Pete is chucking a coin or two at Mystic Wells.
"Now this is a yard in phenomenal form, a trainer who is no longer an up and comer, he is very much here."
"Mystic Wells, a second at Windsor, winner at Brighton last time around, yes is taking a decent class step up but a few in this race are and I think Mystic Wells has a great chance of going on to get the win."

"Don't entirely discount an each-way shout on the huge price of Makinmedoit who I think has a good chance of getting into the frame."
