It's the Lingfield Winter Derby on Saturday, February 26 and Planet Sport tipster Pete Farries has a fancy pick for the big all-weather race plus some other Lingfield lovelies.

You can access all the latest information on Saturday's racing at Lingfield via the Live Race Centre.

Here's a rundown of Pete's picks from Lingfield on Saturday, February 26.

2.05 Lingfield - Fancy Man

Pete fancies Richard Hannon's Fancy Man in the Winter Derby with the four-year-old having taken the trial race earlier this month in fine style.

Sean Levey gets the leg up and here are a few of the reasons why Pete is sweet on Hannon's charge.
"Winter Derby action, of course at Lingfield on Saturday…I'm going to go with Fancy Man for the Hannon yard to get this one. Looks really good, comfortable, loves it here at Lingfield.
Back to back victories including a very comfortable two and half length victory in qualifying for this race. I just think that you've got to keep coming back again and again to a horse in form, while others, even under an unbelievable trainer, aren't quite looking their best.

This horse loves Lingfield so I think Fancy Man will get the win in the Betway Winter Derby Stakes."

Other lovely picks from Lingfield on Saturday, February 26.

In the 14.40, Archie Watson's Imperial Sands is in fine fettle and a course and distance winner over a mile last time out. A three pounds rise is workable and the addition of Hollie Doyle up top is always a big tick.

A classic Charlie and Mark Johnston front runner can offer value in the 15.10 sprint. If You Dare made all the running for a game Southwell win last time out and can go in again.

The Richard Hughes Showcasing gelding Chief White Face is of interest in the 15.45 maiden. Owned by Jaber Abdullah, this one has the potential to go well on debut at a reasonable price.
