13:30 (Warwick) Kart D'Estruval
Kart D'Estruval finished a disappointing sixth on UK debut at Wetherby in November. However, the Dan Skelton-trained five-year-old showed a decent level of form winning in France and could prove well-treated on handicap debut following a wind operation in the Racingtv.Com Handicap Hurdle.
Stablemate Got Grey also underwent a wind operation in recent months and looks interesting racing off the same mark as when fourth attempting a stronger handicap hurdle at Aintree during October.
13:50 (Newbury) Up For Patrol
Up For Patrol remains unexposed over staying distances and could prove equal to the 7lb rise he picked up for winning at Ffos Las four weeks. Could have more to offer up in class in the William Hill Top Price Guarantee Handicap Hurdle.
Haiti Couleurs commands respect as he returns to hurdling following back-to-back novices handicap chase victories at Aintree and Cheltenham.
Tiny Tetley and the consistent Magical King are others to note.
14:05 (Warwick) L' Eau Du Sud
L' Eau Du Sud showed he could dig deep making it two from two over fences in the G1 Henry VIII Novices Chase at Sandown during December and can keep that unbeaten chase record intact in the Unibet Kingmaker Novices' Chase.
Smart hurdler Rubaud fell on chasing debut in the G2 Wayward Lad Novices Chase but is by far the biggest danger on ratings. TEDLEY (4) and RISKINTHEGROUND (2) look set to fight it out for third spot.
14:25 (Newbury) Bravemansgame
Bravemansgame comes out best at the weights in the William Hill Bet10 Get10 On Racing Denman Chase and trainer Paul Nicholls has stated the Grand National will be his ultimate aim.
Ran well when third in the G1 Betfair Chase at Haydock in November and can bounce back from a below-par effort in the G1 King George VI Chase now in a first-time tongue-tie.
Stablemate Hitman finished a good second in a competitive handicap chase at Ascot last time and should be respected, while Djelo wasn't at his best finishing runner-up at Windsor recently but has major claims on his G2 Peterborough Chase success.
14:40 (Warwick) Gala Marceau
Gala Marceau has not been seen since finishing 7L behind Lossiemouth in the G1 Mares Champion Hurdle at Punchestown 280 days ago. Should have too much class for her opposition in the Read Nicky Henderson's Weekly Unibet Blog Mares' Hurdle.
The application of first-time cheekpieces looks an interesting move for West Balboa following her fourth-place finish in a Kempton during December.
You Wear It Well ran third tackling fences here two outings ago and is respected revisiting hurdling.
15:00 (Newbury) Matata
A small wound to the inside of Sir Gino's near hind leg has removed one of the biggest dangers in the William Hill Best Odds Guaranteed Game Spirit Chase, and previous course and distance winner Matata can capitalise.
This front-runner blitzed his rivals in a handicap chase at Windsor last time and would be dangerous if racing from the front.
Libberty Hunter created a nice impression winning a handicap chase at Cheltenham on reappearance and deserves a chance up in grade, while Edwardstone cannot be ignored.
15:35 (Newbury) Joyeuse
Joyeuse could add to the excellent record of his trainer Nicky Henderson in the William Hill Handicap Hurdle.
Form of her runner-up effort behind Irish raider Wodhooh at Cheltenham looks rock solid with the third placed horse winning among G2 company since and she could be well-treated off her current mark.
Impressive last-time-out Windsor winner Secret Squirrel makes major appeal under the 5lb penalty, while fourth home that day Navajo Indy arrives in top form and could be right in the mix now back at Newbury adopting first-time cheekpieces.
