The racing calm after the storm and Planet Sport tipster Pete Farries has a trio of tasty picks from Haydock on Saturday, February 19. Green Book can win readily.

Planet Sport have all the up to date info on racing at Haydock, including racecards and form in our live race centre.
You can also have a bet with Planet Sport Bet.

14.05 Haydock - Molly Olly's Wishes

Pete doesn't need to wish with this one in the William Hill Rendlesham Hurdle for Team Skelton.

A decent sort who won well last time out at Ascot, Molly Olly's Wishes also posted a win at Wetherby.
Dan Skelton gets the ride for his brother and here is a just a snippet of why Molly Olly's Wishes can do the business.

"I think Molly Olly's Wishes has got this sown up. Four wins from the last six, was superb in the SBK Mares' Hurdle of course over at Ascot last time around as well. This is a serious horse for the Skeltons and I think definitely not just in this race but across the board at Haydock.

I adore this horse, was on this horse last time went off and won at 13/8, this time around I ain't moving. Molly Olly's Wishes the one for me."

14.40 Haydock - The Galloping Bear

Pete is content to take some value with The Galloping Bear, who has run really well for the price.

A 12/1 win last time out at Lingfield shows that Ben Clarke's nine-year old can defy the odds in the William Hill Grand National Trial Handicap Chase.

Ben Jones takes the reins with this Bear ready to pounce.
"Now the Galloping Bear was a superb winner at Lingfield last time around, won by two and a half lengths in that race that day. The ground was really really horrible, really heavy, while it may not be that bad on Saturday, it still is not going to be a breeze for those horses.
I do think that this horse is really under the radar and shouldn't be. A really impressive run at Lingfield, lost the lead, gained it back and barring a silly mistake at the sixth could have won by way more…

Each-way is the selection, yes some good runners in there but do keep an eye out for The Galloping Bear."

15.50 Haydock - Green Book

One to make the rest green with envy, Venetia Williams' consistent performer is a likeable type that usually gives punters a run for their money.
A Grade 3 Sandown win last time around was a very good performance.

Aidan Coleman gets the jockey booking and here are some reasons why Green Book can leave the bookies blue in the Albert Bartlett Prestige Novices' Hurdle.

"Winner last time around at Sandown, winning the Heroes Handicap. Looked really really good that day.
This is a horse that keeps getting better I think. Yes there is one silly run in there at Kempton, unseated the rider in between a couple of victories but in this field, I think way too good for the rest.

Miss Venetia Williams, in incredible form as I've mentioned. I just can't see how Green Book loses out in this Graded action."
