Saturday's Beverley best bets and racing tips: Coco Jack to land the opener

Planet Sport tipsters are in Yorkshire for the Beverley race meeting on Saturday, July 2.

All eyes will be on Sandown for the Group 1 Coral-Eclipse on Saturday afternoon, but there's also some good racing in the north at Beverley to get stuck into.

You can get all the latest racecards and results from the action at Beverley with Planet Sport's live race centre, but first here's a quick review of our selections.

14:18 (Beverley) - Coco Jack

14:53 (Beverley) - Secret Guest

15:28 (Beverley) - Rambuso Creek
16:05 (Beverley) - Golden Melody
16:40 (Beverley) - Under Fox
17:15 (Beverley) - Miss Clementine

17:45 (Beverley) - Panama City

14:18 (Beverley) - Coco Jack

Coco Jack has been steadily improving with each run, and can claim the glory in the William Hill Play Responsibly EBF Restricted Novice Stakes.

Won at Hamilton over six furlongs in early June, and a step up 14 days ago at Haydock resulted in an encouraging second behind Dornoch Castle, who is already being aimed at a Group 1 at the Curragh in September.

William Haggas-trained favourite Exposed is the main challenge here, plenty of potential when finishing second at Doncaster last week.

14:53 (Beverley) - Secret Guest

Secret Guest hit the bar at the first attempt but can make it second time lucky in the William Hill Lengthen Your Odds EBF Maiden Stakes at Beverley.
He was a close-up third to two runners who had both the benefit of a run and a better trip through the race at Carlisle, so is expected to improve on his half-length defeat.

17:45 (Beverley) - Panama City

Plenty of potential in Tim Easterby's charge Panama City in the William Hill Racing Radio Restricted Maiden Stakes.
Back up in trip after finishing fourth of nine at Catterick in May, as the three-year-old looks to score his first victory in six attempts.
Roamin In Gloamin and Profound Alexander are worth a look too.
