Ribblesdale Stakes racing tip: Ryan Moore seeks more Royal Ascot success with Warm Heart

As we build up to the Gold Cup at Royal Ascot, this race is the perfect appetiser for the main event, with the odds-on favourite creating enhanced betting value elsewhere.

15:40 Ribblesdale Stakes (Group 2) (1 mile 4 furlongs)

The Ribblesdale Stakes is open to three-year-olds only, and often produces exciting finishes, including last year's edition which saw 11/4 shot Magical Lagoon manage to keep 15/8 favourite Sea Silk Road half a length behind him.

It's hard to see past the odds-on Al Asifah for this one, after the Gosden-trained filly backed up a debut win at Haydock with further success at Goodwood 11 days ago, with further progress expected for this exciting prospect.
However, her prohibitively short price opens the door for each-way value lower down the betting, with every other runner likely to bring home a profit with a frame finish.
That has sent Tipstrr's each-way aficionados clamouring for outsider value, with the likes of Climate Friendly (150/1 at the time of writing), Perfect Prophet (100/1) and Red Riding Hood (100/1) all receiving tentative support.

Great as it would be if any of those makes the frame, a more obvious option appears to be the Aidan O'Brien-trained Warm Heart, who is available at a less enticing but perhaps more realistic 7/1.

Since opening up with a fourth-of-14 finish on Dundalk's all-weather track in November, this progressive filly has hit the turf running this season, kicking off with a runner-up spot in heavy going over a mile at Leopardstown in April.
A month later, she went one better to land her maiden victory in similar conditions at the same track, this time over a longer 10-furlong trip, a feat she repeated last time out 33 days ago, when she proved her versatility on much faster ground at Newbury.
She should have no trouble stepping up an additional couple of furlongs here, and with red-hot Ryan Moore on board looking to get back to winning ways after three near misses on day two, we can expect Warm Heart to make her presence felt among classier company here.
Suggested bet: Warm Heart each-way in the 15:40 at Royal Ascot
