Perth 1.25 - Super Six

It's a long old slog from Cheltenham to Perth for Super Six but that is his journey in more ways than one.

Wily old dog Nigel Twiston-Davies trains twenty minutes from Cheltenham and his four year-old registered a very decent fifth in the Champion Bumper at the 2021 Festival.

Any horse that gets to within a swish of the tail of Sir Gerhard and Kilcruit deserves serious respect in this Class 4 hurdle at the Scottish track.

A 13th placed finish last time out in a bumper at Aintree wasn't ideal but that Class 1 heat was a world away and won by a smart Paul Nicholls type.

Team Twiston-Davies go into the race with a win at the course on Wednesday with Goa Lil.

Against middling opposition and with Sam Twiston-Davies in the saddle, this should be the kind of race that Super Six has in hand if he is to live up to that Champion Bumper placing.
