Newcastle’s all-weather track stages Tuesday’s only evening racing action, and this six-furlong sprint looks likely to be one of the most competitive handicaps on the card.

At the top of the betting, Missmimi looks to be the justified clear favourite after producing figures of 3212 at this venue over the last couple of months, and she is only two pounds above her winning mark of this course and distance in September.
She is not the only course-distance winner in the line-up, however, and she might have her hands full with another promising four-year-old in the shape of Noble Captain.
Eight of this gelding’s last nine outings have been at this venue, and after winning over this very trip twice earlier this year, he has another.
His underwhelming ninth place over this course and distance 21 days ago can probably be excused as he was returning from a four-month summer break and probably needed the run to blow the cobwebs away.
He was also hampered at the start but that pipe-opener should at least see him strip fitter here in what appears to be a more straightforward assignment for Katie Scott's inmate, while promising jockey Sam James will be looking to build on his 20/1 triumph on Jungle Drums at York on Saturday .
