It's all about the money this weekend at Lingfield as the inaugural meeting worth over a million pounds in prize money takes place. There's a feast of flat and jumps action for that huge prize pot.

Lingfield Park is making it a solid gold January with the inaugural Winter Million meeting which promises over a million pounds in prize money over a stellar three days.
Day 1 and day 3 will focus on jumps racing action, while the money-soaked sandwich in between is Saturday's flat racing card, featuring the £100,000 Coral Winter Oaks Fillies' Handicap.

Day 1: Friday, January 21

TV: ITV 4 - 13.10

The centrepiece race is the Sovereign Handicap Hurdle worth a cool £100,000.

Harry Fry's Metier heads the market, the 2021 Tolworth Hurdle winner is looking to recapture some top form.

Lucky Max leads the Irish raiders for Sean Thomas Doyle and his gelding is chasing a four-timer.

Day 2: Saturday, January 22

The action moves to the flat on Saturday with the Coral Winter Oaks Fillies' Handicap, the standout.

A tremendously competitive all-weather field is headed by the top rated Virgin Snow of Harry Dunlop's, a third last time out in the Group 3 Darley Pride Stakes at Newmarket.
James Fanshawe's Viola won the Winter Oaks trial and heads the contenders including Nuble and Umm Hurair coming to Lingfield on the back of last time out wins.
