Lingfield each-way racing tip: Mount Mogan can bounce back to out-run massive price

Our Tipstrr horse racing pundit has picked out an unfancied outsider from today's Lingfield card, believing that Mount Mogan can produce better than his price and recent record suggest.

13:51 (Lingfield) Mount Mogan

Mount Mogan is an exposed six-year-old, but could show improved form on Saturday, after having won at today's course and distance before.
His odds might suggest he does not look too good after his last few outings, but he drops down to his smallest ever mark here and is also back down into Class 5 company.
He has won twice on the polytrack, has won several times over six furlongs, and with his Lingfield form reading 29317200, it would appear that the surface, the distance or the course do not pose any obstacles.

The issue is his last two runs, and while the two blobs look bad on paper, they were over seven furlongs and he got started badly on both occasions, weakening towards the end of one of them.

So, dropping back to six furlongs might be a good move, and with cheek pieces going back on I think trainer Laura Mongan might have just worked out a possible cause of the problem.

Whatever happens though, I would say we have a good chance of getting a decent run out of this horse, but even if there's only a 10 percent chance, that still makes this horse spectacular value at the current 33/1 offering, especially considering the new mark of 69 in class 5 company.

Anything over 12/1 should still carry solid each-way value.
