The 16:20 at Haydock Park looks to be a wide-open race with the bookings slapping an average price of 9/2 on four horses as of Wednesday morning.
Calypso, Ararat, Renesmee and The Toff are priced as the best contenders with Drafted the best of the rest and the chasing pack a long way behind.
Whether it plays out that way remains to be seen, but there's certainly plenty of form over course and distance. Calypso was a beaten favourite last time out having returned from a short break. The speed didn't favour him that day but could be more suited here.

Ararat is fresh after a six-month break and a fairly positive handicap return at Newcastle, while Renesmee is a lightly-raced maiden with good form, but it's worth noting he hasn't raced since February.
