19.00 Kempton - May Night
I'm going to go with the intruiging Andrew Balding runner here, May Night. A three time course and distance winner, in a field where I don't think there's huge amounts between any of them.
May Night is in and around the 5/1 mark at the time of recording, was impressive last time around at Wolverhampton, and just before that here at Kempton. Now that was a Class 4, this is a Class 2 race, but I've been really impressed by this runner.
Also of interest, Diocles of Rome, a good win under the belt last time puts them in good stead this time, but May Night is the one to beat for me. It's all about the step up.
