Complete Unknown will run a massive race in Welsh National declares Harry Cobden

Complete Unknown ridden by jockey Harry Cobden
Complete Unknown will lock horns with over 20 rivals for the December 27 showpiece at Chepstow.
Previous winner Iwilldoit tops the weights in the Welsh Grand National with Complete Unknown, The Big Breakaway, The Galloping Bear, Chambard and Autonomous Cloud all in contention.
And Cobden thinks the 8/1 shot can make up for his disappointing run in the Coral Gold Cup at Newbury in early December where Paul Nicholls' seven-year-old finished 10th.
"I was worried about the ground before Newbury and I think it proved he needs a bit of cut to be at his best," Harry Cobden exclusively told Planet Sport Bet.
"He was a decent hurdler but has really excelled over fences and I’m really excited to ride him in the Welsh National.
"He’s got a high cruising speed on a softer surface – something that’s almost guaranteed at Chepstow – and I’ve got no doubts he’ll stay. If anything I think he might improve for it.
"He was in top gear the whole way at Newbury but they’ll be going slower at Chepstow which will really suit him.
"It will be a right old test and if you watch his run at Aintree back, all he was doing was staying on.
"The winner is nearly favourite for a Gold Cup, so the form is in the book and if he turns up, he will run a massive race."
