Aintree Festival 2023: Topham Handicap Chase tips - Gesskille to turn tables on Ashtown Lad

Horses clear Grand National fence
One of the most popular races of the Aintree Festival is the Topham Chase and with 30 runners due to line up, there should be each-way punts a-plenty for our team of tipsters to guide us towards.
First run in 1949 the Topham Chase joins the Foxhunters' Chase as the only two races other than the showpiece itself to be contested over the Grand National fences, albeit over a shorter distance.
Last year's race was won by 8/1 shot Mac Tottie, but the fact that five of the next six to finish were priced at 25/1 or higher gives an indication of how wide open this race is for each-way value (if you can find it!)
While Ashtown Lad's previous Aintree success in landing the Becher Chase in December, the consensus of opinion within the Tipstrr community leans more towards co-market leader Gesskille who finished runner-up in both of his winter Aintree trips, and was just a couple of lengths behind Ashtown Lad in that race.
He benefits by a couple of pounds on the winner compared to that contest, and looks in good shape to reverse that result here.
There appears to be growing support for Equus Dancer, whose solitary blip at Sandown in February halted a four-race winning streak.
He quickly bounced back to victorious ways, however, landing a competitive 10-runner handicap at Uttoxeter a month ago and he looks well-treated in the weights to go close for the Bowen team.
