David Loughnane is a real up and coming trainer and his Absolutelyflawless epitomised the Shropshire handler's talented juvenile crop with a win at Chester.

Shropshire trainer David Loughnane has a good crop of young horses and rolled out another promising individual in Absolutelyflawless who won classily in the ICM Stellar Sports Lily Agnes Conditions Stakes at Chester.
The two-year-old Ribchester filly built on a debut win at Southwell with a comfortable one and a half length win from Gay Kelleway's Ocean Cloud.

Go Bears Go looks the standout of Loughnane's but Absolutelyflawless also appears one to watch after a Chester test in which she travelled smoothly.

The win was all the more impressive given Absolutelyflawless was relatively slowly away over the five furlong sprint course under Laura Pearson.

Starting at 6/1, a poor run from 10/11 favourite Star Of Lady M meant that the door was open for Absolutelyflawless and she did not disappoint after being held up till the perfect opportunity by Pearson, hugging the rail and delivering a strong finish to put a clear one and a half lengths between herself and Kelleway's Camacho filly Ocean Cloud

Loughnane said: "That was just what we wanted to see. We knew she'd be slowly away and Laura thought there'd be loads of pace on and she was right.
"She's quite a smart filly, when the gap opened up she was going well enough to take it.
"I wasn't sure about the ground but she's a tough filly and obviously handled it.
"Today was the plan. We can have a think about Ascot and everything. A stiff five furlongs at Ascot, I wouldn't be afraid of it."
Gay Kelleway said of Ocean Cloud: "We were beaten by the ground, she wants it quick. She'll still go to Ascot before she goes to America."
Meanwhile, Absolutelyflawless holds entries for the Weatherbys Scientific £300,000 2-Y-O Stakes at Doncaster in September and also the William Hill Two Year Old Trophy at Redcar in October. Loughnane's sprinter will be primed for Royal Ascot however in the meantime with plenty of options for the speedy filly with that crucial touch of class at the business end in races.
The Royal Ascot meeting runs from Tuesday, June 14 to Saturday, June 18 at Ascot racecourse in Berkshire, England. The meeting is described as a "spellbinding explosion of the senses, featuring an all-star cast and world-class racing."

Living up to her name! Absolutelyflawless kicks off the @Boodles May Festival in fine style, winning the Lily Agnes for @Laurapearson_, @DaveLoughnane_ and @jdavelowe at @ChesterRaces... pic.twitter.com/N9ik3cPZiR
