KSI proclaims he’s ‘the man’ to ‘knock out’ Jake Paul; expects ‘awkward’ Logan Paul exchange

YouTuber-turned-boxer KSI has proclaimed that he is “the man” to knock out Jake Paul ahead of their potential clash later this year.

KSI has returned to the ring in recent months as he has headed up Misfits Boxing alongside Wasserman promoter Kalle Sauerland.

His comeback has been done with the end goal being that he will fight Paul later this year, which is comfortably the biggest fight to make in influencer boxing.

He hopes to put in an impressive showing this weekend when he faces fellow YouTuber Faze Temperrr.
But talk in the build-up has naturally diverted to KSI vs Paul. The Brit has insisted that he is looking forward to facing his long-term rival.

"Yes, 100 per cent, I am the man," KSI told talkSPORT.

"That's the reason I came back and through every fight that I do, you will see that I'm 'that guy'!
"I really, really love this whole boxing scene, it gives me purpose, it's my passion right now, so I just want to keep doing and eventually get to Jake Paul and knock him out."
KSI has previously fought Jake's brother Logan Paul twice. They were involved in a bitter feud themselves but they are now friends and even have a business together with Prime hydration.
He knows that Logan is "going to back his brother" and he suspects it to be "very awkward" between them.
"Yeah, it's very awkward," KSI admitted with a laugh.
"Logan knows it's coming, it's happening, and when me and Jake do fight, obviously he's going to back his brother because that's his blood.
"But, at the end of the day, we're going to find out who is the best of the best is when it comes to this YouTube scene.
"And this rivalry has been boiling and building for years and years."
