Eagles @ Chiefs tips, picks and prop bets: Super Bowl losers Philadelphia set for rushing revenge

The Kansas City Chiefs (7-2) will welcome the Philadelphia Eagles (8-1) to Arrowhead Stadium for Monday Night Football (0120 GMT Tues).

The Philadelphia Eagles will go in search of Super Bowl revenge when they face the Kansas City Chiefs.

Eagles @ Chiefs game pick

The last time these sides met was in the Superbowl when the Kansas City Chiefs ran out 38-35 winners.

Monday Night Football could provide us with not only a much-anticipated rematch but potentially a preview of this season’s main event.

The 8-1 Eagles and the 7-2 Chiefs look well-placed to be the top ranking team in their respective conferences and should be fresh coming off of a bye week.

Patrick Mahomes threw for just 185 yards against the Dolphins but still recorded two touchdown passes as the Chiefs won 21-17.

As good as they usually are on offence, their defence has been winning them some games. They now rank in the top five in the league for points allowed per game.

On the other hand, the Eagles are comfortably a top 10 defence while also scoring 28 points per game.

The Super Bowl may have been a thrilling affair, but all the signs point towards a much lower-scoring game than that with poor weather also likely to be a factor.

One area in particular where the Eagles' defence excels is stopping the run game, which will limit KC to throwing.

It’s worth noting that Philly have opted to run the ball on just short of 50% of their plays this season, and the Chiefs are not a particularly good run defence.

That could well be the difference in this game with the Eagles' desire for revenge also a factor.

Bet: Philadelphia Eagles +3

Eagles @ Chiefs prop bets

Jalen Hurts averages 33 passing attempts per game, but because we’re anticipating success for the Eagles on the floor, that may not be necessary.

Prop: Jalen Hurts under 32 passing attempts

D’Andre Swift is averaging around 68 rushing yards per game. He picked up half of his total yardage in two games, but still, he’s scored 56 or more in six of nine.

Prop: D’Andre Swift over 57.5 rushing yards

No player has scored more rushing touchdowns for the Eagles than quarterback Jalen Hurts. He has seven this season.
