SHOTSHELL (7) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing third last time out over 6½f at Sam Houston Park (Dirt). Meeting a deeper field this time but he cannot be underestimated. BATTLE STRIKE (1) is back at the races for the first time since February 18. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 6½f at Woodbine. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. NEXT REVOLT (2) was last at the races when he finished 11th over 1m1/2f at Oaklawn Park (Dirt) on February 25. Sure to make his presence felt. OAK HILL LG (6) got the prize two runs ago but was less impressive last time out when seventh over 1m at Evangeline Downs, beaten 13 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
