Petra Kvitova and Alexander Bublik warm-up for Wimbledon with silverware

Petra Kvitova and Alexander Bublik won their respective grass-court tournaments as they got themselves ready for Wimbledon.

Two-time former Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova will head to SW19 full of confidence after claiming her 31st career title at the WTA Tour event in Berlin.
The veteran Czech defeated Donna Vekic 6-2 7-6 (6) for her sixth trophy on grass, adding to her double success at Wimbledon, two victories in Birmingham and last year's win in Eastbourne.
Kvitova's tally of 31 titles is more than any other active female player except Venus Williams.
The world number nine broke Croatian Vekic when she served for the second set at 5-4 and saved a set point in the tie-break before clinching victory with a forehand winner down the line.
Meanwhile, Alexander Bublik won the biggest title of his career with victory over Andrey Rublev at the Terra Wortmann Open in Halle.
The unpredictable Kazakh made it third time lucky in grass-court finals with a 6-3 3-6 6-3 success against the third seed, hitting 42 winners, half of which were aces.
Bublik's all-or-nothing approach also saw him rack up 12 double faults, including three in the final game, but it did not prevent him from lifting the trophy.
"It really means the world to me," said Bublik on atptour.com. "I've been struggling for half a year and now having this as a reward, I don't take it for granted.
"It was hard work. I was walking through the little hall of fame here before entering the court for the very first time against (Jan-Lennard) Struff and I was like, 'Wow, the different names, a lot of guys I'm familiar with. That would be nice maybe to have it one day'.
"But I could not even imagine that I would win this tournament and I'm really, really happy."
