The visitors recently failed to beat Seychelles, St Lucia, and St Kitts and Nevis in their most recent outings and lost their previous visit to Slovakia 7-0.

    Denmark vs Sweden

These friendlies are tough to call because we’ve seen teams coasting through them, or altering lineups and prioritising minutes in the legs.

Denmark have more motivation and a more talented squad to call on. If Kasper Hjulmand opts to field a strong XI, the hosts should be able to shut out the Swedes and win.

    Belgium vs Montenegro

Montenegro’s attempt at qualifying saw them ship at least two goals to Hungary, Serbia and Lithuania on their travels.

Belgium can easily run up the score but could be disjointed due to changes. The Red Devils don’t concede many, though, so we’ll back the safer option of a win to nil.

    France vs Luxembourg

France and Luxembourg produced one of the more famous qualifying results of the past decade when the visitors held Les Blues to a 0-0 draw in 2017.

They’ve failed to score in all but one of their away friendlies since and if France fancy running up the score, they can. They’ll also want to tighten up on defence after beating Chile 3-2 in their last match.

    Mexico vs Uruguay

Lastly, we’re off to Mexico in the early hours when they’ll host Marcelo Bielsa’s Uruguay. Both sides are preparing for Copa America so this match will take place in the USA, removing true home advantage.

The expectation is El Loco’s side will be extremely well-drilled for their first tournament under his stewardship, while nothing we’ve seen about a declining Mexico side in recent years makes us want to back them.
