The Blades smelled blood in the second half, with Brooks and O’Hare both coming off the bench to get in on the act. That three-goal cushion should be more than enough, especially at Bramall Lane, where Sheffield United have been a tough nut to crack all season.

Even if the first leg had ended level, Sheffield United would’ve been strong favourites here. They finished 22 points ahead of Bristol City in the table and are now unbeaten in their last eight meetings with the Robins. City haven’t beaten the Blades in years, and it’s hard to see that changing on Monday night.

Defensively, Sheffield United have been rock solid. They’ve kept clean sheets in over half of their league games and added another last week, where Bristol City only managed one shot on target. Mehmeti and Wells will need to dig deep to find a breakthrough, but don’t count on it.

Still, with Bristol City needing goals, they’ll have to throw men forward, so both teams to score has appeal, especially since the two regular-season meetings ended with goals at both ends.

Also, the half-time draw looks worth a punt, as five of the last six head-to-head meetings have been level at the break, and it took a stoppage-time red and penalty to change that pattern last week.

For goalscorer value, Tyrese Campbell is worth a look. He blanked in the first leg but remains United’s top scorer, so there’s good value in backing him to bounce back, particularly as he’ll spearhead numerous counterattacking opportunities.
