Euro 2024: Poland vs Netherlands tips and predictions – Dutch dynamite too much for toothless Eagles

The Netherlands begin their hunt for a second European Championship title on Sunday afternoon as they take on Poland in Hamburg (1400 BST).
It’s been 36 years since Netherlands claimed their one and only European Championship triumph.
Ronald Koeman will be hoping to lead his nation to the second crown, but before they can think about the Henri Delaunay Trophy, they must overcome a tricky group featuring Poland, France and Austria.
Poland are arguably the weakest side in the group having qualified for the tournament the long way around.
The Poles finished third in their qualifying group but got a second bite at the cherry via the play-offs. A win over Estonia followed by a penalty-shootout success against Wales secured Poland’s ticket to Germany.
Ask anyone about the Eagles and they will likely mention one name – Robert Lewandowski.

Their second-best striker Arkadiusz Milik is also not an option as the Juventus forward misses the tournament due to injury.
