EFL midweek acca: Lion tamers Leeds set to maul Tigers in tasty treble
It’s slim pickings on Wednesday but there’s still enough meat on the bones to throw together a small Championship acca.
There are just six matches taking place in the English Football League on Wednesday but Planet Sport has identified a tasty treble currently priced at 5/1.
Hull City vs Leeds United
Leeds Unite’s only wins have come away from home and this is a team that sets up perfectly to win away. Daniel Farke’s side have beaten Ipswich Town 4-3 and Millwall 3-0. The majority of those goals saw the Whites exploit their attack-minded hosts and given the way Hull play, we anticipate they’ll have plenty of openings on Wednesday.
Millwall vs Rotherham United
Just days after suffering their most humbling loss against bitter rivals Leeds, the Millwall players owe their fans a performance. Rotherham are a team that are always there for the taking on their travels so if the Lions can keep things tight at the back then they should have no problem scoring against the Millers.
Norwich City vs Leicester City
Fourth hosts second (at the time of writing) at Carrow Road on Wednesday and we expect an entertaining game. The Canaries have already played out a 4-4 draw with Southampton this season, scoring 13 and conceding eight. Despite their success, Leicester have allowed 42 shots in three away games and should concede here.
