Doncaster vs Crystal Palace: Prediction, tips and bet builder as Eagles look to book fifth round spot

Oliver Glasner of Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace travel to the lowest ranked side left in the FA Cup when they face League Two promotion contenders Doncaster Rovers at the Eco-Power Stadium on Monday night (1945 GMT).

Crystal Palace have been on a good run in the league recently and are now sitting comfortably in mid-table, so Oliver Glasner could see this as a perfect opportunity for a cup run.

In Doncaster, they have an opponent who will be up for the fight, but their priorities may be elsewhere as they currently have plenty to play for, with Donny occupying the third and final automatic promotion spot in League Two.

This will be an intriguing clash with 58 places between them in the football pyramid and we have a bet builder below which has tasty odds of 14/1 at the time of writing.

Good luck and please gamble responsibly.

Doncaster vs Crystal Palace bet builder

Crystal Palace to win- 1/4

Both teams to score- 19/20

Jean-Philippe Mateta to score in 90 mins- 8/11

Luke Molyneux to score in 90 mins- 21/4

Crystal Palace to win

Oliver Glasner's side started the season poorly, but have come into form in recent weeks and have the top half of the Premier League in their sights.

They have won five of their last seven across all competitions and have conceded just four times in that run.

Doncaster do have home advantage and have won four of their last five, but their visitors, who are three leagues above them, should have too much quality for them.

Both teams to score

One thing Donny do is score goals, Grant McCann's side have found the back of the net in each of their last nine across all competitions.

Palace do have a good defensive record in recent weeks, but Doncaster do have a plethora of attacking talent including the likes of experienced talisman Billy Sharp and top scorer Luke Molyneux, so we think both teams to score is worth a punt.

Jean-Philippe Mateta to score in 90 mins

The Frenchman has been on fire recently and we think Glasner will put out a strong team due to the Eagles' position in the table.

Mateta has scored in six of his last five games, including a brace last time out against Manchester United and we think he'll be too hot to handle for a League Two defence.

Luke Molyneux to score in 90 mins

We have already predicted Donny to get on the scoresheet and the outside punt of this bet builder is that Luke Molyneux will score it.

Molyneux is Rovers' top scorer this season, with 13 goals in all competitions including a goal against Championship side Hull in the last round.

With odds of 21/4 at the time of writing, a Molyneux goal could add a bit of risk to your bet builder.
