The Champions League race intensifies as Nottingham Forest travel to Wembley bound Crystal Palace on Monday Night Football (2000 BST).

Nottingham Forest are locked in a tussle for the Champions League places that has been unpredictable and despite defeat to Brentford on Thursday, a place in the top five is still well and truly in their own hands.

Forest have been the surprise package this season and are just four games away from booking a spot in the top tier of European football.

On the other hand, Crystal Palace are heading for their now customary mid-table finish, and all of their Eagle eyes will be on their Wembley date with Man City following the excellent semi-final win against Aston Villa.

Can Forest get back on track with a vital win? We've taken a look at the best bets for this Premier League clash.

    Nottingham Forest to win

Forest slipped up on Thursday night, losing 2-0 at home to Brentford, but Nuno Espirito Santo's side have a chance to quickly right that wrong at Selhurst Park.

The men from the East Midlands have been excellent on the road this season, with them picking up 29 of their 60 points on their travels, only Liverpool and Arsenal have better away records.

Crystal Palace are less than two weeks away from an FA Cup final and have nothing to play for league wise, so there could be some changes from Oliver Glasner.

The Eagles also have a mixed record at home this season, only the bottom three and Everton have picked up fewer home wins than their tally of five this season.

We think Forest will bounce back with a narrow win in this one.

Anthony Elanga to score or assist

The likes of Chris Wood and Matz Sels have rightly been showered with praise this season, but the form of former Man United winger Anthony Elanga has gone under the radar.

The Swede has 15 goal contributions to his name this season and he and fellow winger Callum Hudson-Odoi have been key in the game plan that has brought them so many points on the road this season.

Anthony Elanga to score or assist looks a good addition to your bet builder.

    Under 2.5 goals

Both of these teams tend to be solid at the back, Palace, despite the two hammerings at Newcastle and Man City, have been pretty solid and have conceded just three times in their last five home games.

Forest also have the keeper who's leading the golden glove race in the form of Sels, who has kept 13 clean sheets this season.

We think this clash could be a tight one with few goals.

Eberechi Eze to have 2+ shots on target

When you think of Crystal Palace as an attacking threat, Eberechi Eze is one of the first players that springs to mind.

The England man is always open to having a pop at goal, as we have seen recently so Eze to have at least two shots on target is a possibility.
