    Copa America 2024 tips and predictions: Brazil vs Colombia - More misery for struggling Brazilians

    Brazil will hope to beat Colombia and top Group D at the Copa America on Tuesday night (0200 BST, Weds) but we’re willing to bet against them.

    Brazil must beat Colombia in Santa Clara during the early hours of Wednesday morning if they want to pip them to the Group D crown.

    A shock 0-0 draw with Costa Rica handed the Colombians the initiative on matchday one as James Rodrguez starred in a 2-1 win against Paraguay.

    They were also no match for the might of Brazil, as Vinicius Junior (2), Savinho and Lucas Paqueta scored in a 4-1 win. Meanwhile, Colombia were beating Costa Rica 3-0.

    While Dorival Junior’s side is extremely unlikely to crash out of the competition, it isn’t the mathematical impossibility that fans would hope it to be by now.
