Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace tips and predictions: Goal-shy Eagles can’t match Cherries

Bournemouth will share the Vitality Stadium pitch with Crystal Palace on Tuesday safe in the knowledge they’ll play Premier League football next season.

Seamus Coleman’s late own goal made it back-to-back wins for the Cherries and an impressive haul of 10 points from four games.

Andoni Iraola’s side have avoided defeat in 15 of their previous 10 outings but a trio of wins shows they are back to winning form.

Visitors Crystal Palace extended the gap between them and the relegation zone to eight points with a 1-1 draw at Nottingham Forest last time out.

Although the Eagles are unbeaten in five of six, Oliver Glasner was disappointed to see his side score first for first and fail to win for the fifth time in six matches.

Jean-Philippe Mateta opened the scoring in the 11th minute in each of their last two but Palace’s failure to score more than one caught up with them again.

Iraola’s side are always guilty of giving you chances but they’ve found the net twice in their last four and 13 times in 20 Premier League games.

The visitors mounting injury list has robbed them of key players all over the pitch so it’s easy to see how they could lack a threat once again.

The hosts will be without Ryan Fredericks and Luis Sinisterra on Tuesday.

Marcos Senesi and Ryan Christie will be assessed but are unlikely to feature.

Crystal Palace will be without creative cog Michael Olise as well as Sam Johnstone, Cheick Doucoure, Rob Holding, Marc Guehi, Jeserun Rak-Sakyi and Matheus Franca.
