Bournemouth vs Everton tips and predictions: Goal-shy Toffees unlikely to end seven-match nightmare

Everton will be looking to strengthen their survival hopes when they travel to Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon (1500 GMT).

It’s been a turbulent season for Everton. From points deductions to a lacklustre goal return, Sean Dyche has not had it easy at Goodison Park this year.

The Toffees enter this fixture four points above the drop zone and with only 10 matches to go until the end of the season, there’s plenty of work still to do.

Getting the better of Bournemouth won’t be easy this weekend. The Cherries entered the international break in good form having gone three games unbeaten and winning two of those fixtures.

During this run, Bournemouth scored eight goals – including four against Luton in a thrilling encounter which saw them come back from 3-0 down to win 4-3.

Scoring goals has not been a problem for the Cherries - something that can't be said about Everton.

The Toffees have really struggled in front of goal, scoring 29 goals this season – only Sheffield United have scored fewer.

To make matters worse for Everton, their recent away form is truly dreadful. Dyche and his men are winless on the road in seven matches across all competitions and have scored two goals along the way.

With that in mind, we’re backing Bournemouth to outscore their opponents and secure their 10th Premier League win of the season.

Bournemouth to win by a single goal margin is the way to go. Backing the 2-1 correct score bet offers plenty of value.

Team news

Bournemouth will be without Ryan Fredericks, Luis Sinisterra, Lloyd Kelly and Marcos Senesi. Max Aarons and James Hill are both doubts.

Dele Alli remains on the sidelines for Everton while Idrissa Gueye and Arnaut Danjuma are being assessed ahead of the weekend.

Key stats

- Everton are winless in their last seven away games across all competitions

- Bournemouth are unbeaten in their last three Premier League matches

- Everton are the second-lowest goalscorers in the Premier League

- Bournemouth have won just one of their last five matches at home (all comps)

Suggested bets

Bournemouth to win by a single goal margin

Correct score – Bournemouth 2-1 Everton

Both teams to score
