Arsenal vs Wolves tips: Back Gunners to score in both halves and keep visitors at bay

Neither side have anything to play for, with Arsenal having let their title challenge waver in recent weeks.

Key stats

Wolves have scored just 12 goals in 18 Premier League away matches this season.

Arsenal vs Wolves team news

Gabriel Martinelli (ankle), Oleksandr Zinchenko (calf), William Saliba (back), Takehiro Tomiyasu (knee) and Mohamed Elneny (knee) are unavailable for Arsenal.
Reiss Nelson was struggling with a virus last weekend but could recover in time to feature.

Francisco Tavares Oliveira (knee) and Sasa Kalajdzic (knee) could be the only absentees for Julen Lopetegui's side.

Verdict

It's been an extremely disappointing end to the season for Arsenal, but they can still be proud of the fact they looked like a title contender for the first time in a long time.

The only explanation for their poor performance at the tail end of such a good season is the pressure having gotten to them. They threw away a pair of 2-0 leads and crumbled against Southampton.

Despite that, they have been a far sight better than anyone else other than the champions. They've scored at least three goals in six of their last seven at home and should prosper against a soft Wolves side.
Julen Lopetegui did a fantastic job to take Wolves from where they were to a comfortable mid-table finish and Premier League survival. The visitors could still finish as high as 12th.
Their recent away form suggests that's unlikely, though. While home has been a fortress, they have won just once in their last 10 away matches.
The only point they have claimed in their last six was against Nottingham Forest and even Leicester were able to record a rare victory against them. In April, Brighton beat them 6-0 at the AMEX.

Arsenal were caught feeling sorry for themselves at the City Ground in defeat to Nottingham Forest last time out, but it would be a waste to allow this season to finish on a more sour note.

Mikel Arteta is likely to rally the troops for one final performance in front of the deserving home fans and in our opinion, it doesn't look like Wolves will put up much opposition.
Back Arsenal to finish the season on a positive note and fire in at least three goals en route to victory over a Wolves side heading towards a rebuild.
