West Ham United vs Crystal Palace

If David Moyes can keep his players' feet on the ground after an electrifying start to the season then this is as close to a home banker as you can get in the Premier League this weekend.

The Hammers have made a 100% start to the season and scored eight goals in the process, while the Patrick Vieira era has started with a whimper as Palace have yet to find the net in three games in all competitions.

A 3-0 loss at Chelsea on the opening day is also an ominous sign that Palace may struggle at the Premier League's leading sides, which West Ham are certainly looking like so far.

At 13/8, West Ham to win to nil is sorely tempting, but a straight up bet on the home side at 4/7 is also a more than respectable addition to your acca.

Norwich City vs Leicester City

No team needed a midweek EFL Cup win more than Norwich and they won in some style too, seeing off Bournemouth 6-0 at Carrow Road to put their 3-0 loss against Liverpool and 5-0 drubbing at Man City firmly in the rear view mirror.

However, the fixture list continues to be unkind to the Canaries as next up it's a Leicester side keen to make amends for a 4-1 loss at West Ham last time out.

The Foxes' cause wasn't exactly helped by Ayoze Perez's 40th-minute sending off at the London Stadium, and with the benefit of a full week's preparation for this game and hopefully 11 men on the pitch for the full 90 minutes we're expecting much better from Leicester here.

And Brendan Rodgers' men can be backed at around 17/20 to secure their second win of the Premier League season.

Brighton vs Everton

Brighton have made an excellent start to the campaign with two Premier League wins and victory at Cardiff in the EFLCup.

However, the visitors aren't far behind them in the form table having won one and drawn one of their league matches and seeing off Huddersfield in midweek, so we're expecting an open game at the Amex Stadium.

Brighton have scored six goals in their three games this season, while the Toffees have netted seven times already, and both sides have scored in three of the four league games played by these teams.

And at 10/11, both teams to score this time around should give you a real run for your money.

Aston Villa vs Brentford

Aston Villa fans Aug 2021

The Bees face their toughest test of the season as they travel to a free-scoring Villa side who are banging them in like it's going out of fashion, netting four goals in two Premier League games and smashing six past Barrow in midweek.

Brentford will not fear a trip to Villa Park after they followed up an emotional home win over Arsenal with a creditable 0-0 draw at Crystal Palace and a 3-1 victory over Forest Green in the EFL Cup.

However, we do fear for Thomas Frank's men at Villa Park as Palace had the better of the chances at Selhurst Park and if the Bees couldn't dispatch an insipid Palace side then it doesn't bode well for their trip to the Midlands.

So we're happy to side with Villa at 20/21.

Newcastle United vs Southampton

The Saints have bounced back well from an opening day defeat at Everton, securing a more than deserved 1-1 draw against Man Utd and winning 8-0 at Newport in midweek.

Over on Tyneside the all too familiar rumblings of discontent are stirring up once again as Newcastle have made a poor start to the season, losing twice in the Premier League and exiting the EFL Cup on penalties against Burnley.

However, a small crumb of comfort for the Toon Army was that they dominated the tie and with better finishing would have dispatched Sean Dyche's men with ease, and we reckon they can continue that form this weekend.

Southampton have lost their last four trips to St James' Park, so if you're after a boost to your acca, despite all their recent woes we reckon you could do a lot worse than backing the hosts at 29/20.

Fulham vs Stoke City

Stoke City's Leo Ostigard Aug 2021

The game of the day in the Championship is undoubtedly at Craven Cottage, where first plays third in a clash of two unbeaten sides who have both won three and lost one of their opening four league matches.

The Cottagers are also the second-highest scorers in the league with 10 goals, while the Potters have netted a more than respectable seven times.

And with both teams in form and firing we reckon even money is a great price for a goal on each side to score in west London.

Peterborough vs West Brom

West Brom were hammered 6-0 by Arsenal in midweek after Valerian Ismael decided to rest most of his senior players, but we're expecting that decision to pay off when they travel to Peterborough.

Up until that point the Baggies' form had been impeccable, drawing 2-2 at promotion-chasing Bournemouth before embarking on a three-match league winning streak where they scored an average of three goals a game.

By contrast, Peterborough's start to the season has been nothing to write home about with four points gained out of a possible 12, and their only win came against struggling Derby County.

And more worrying for Posh fans, the standard of the opponents they have faced so far has been nowhere near what they can expect when the Baggies come to town, so we're happy to recommend the visitors at 3/4.

Forest Green vs Port Vale

We're not quite ready to go plant-based yet but this season they seem to be doing something right at the world's first vegan sports team!

League Two leaders Forest Green have four league wins from four and emerged with great credit from their EFL Cup tie with Brentford this week, taking the lead at the Community Stadium and looking the equal of the Premier League outfit for 75 minutes.

Rovers have also scored 13 goals this season and should prove to be too strong for a winless Port Vale side currently languishing in 17th place, having scored just one league goal.

You can get generous odds of around 21/20 for the home win, with an even more acca-friendly 13/5 on the hosts to win to nil.
