Most sequels disappoint. But this one has the makings of an absolute classic.

Just three days on from their FA Cup final - narrowly won by Leicester City - the two teams are getting ready for Round Two. This time though, a top four finish and Champions League qualification will be at stake.

The Foxes are currently third with 66 points. Meanwhile, Chelsea sit just behind them on 64 points. The real danger comes from fifth placed Liverpool who are on 63 points and face Burnley on Wednesday.

The pressure is certainly on and another cagey affair between the Blues and the Foxes is expected.

Last Three Matches

Chelsea 0-1 Leicester (FA Cup Final - May 15, 2021)
Last weekend Leicester ended Chelsea's double hopes following their 1-0 victory in the FA Cup final at Wembley stadium.
Youri Tielemans scored one of the best goals in recent FA Cup history as his thunderbolt from outside the area found the back of the net.
The Blues thought they scored an equaliser in the 89th minute however, VAR was there to spot a miniscule offside and rule the goal out.
In the end, it was the Foxes who lifted their first ever FA Cup trophy.
Leicester 2-0 Chelsea (Premier League - January 19, 2021)
When the two sides met in the Premier League earlier this season, it was Leicester City who came out victorious.
First-half goals from Wilfred Ndidi and James Maddison sealed the victory and all three points for Brendan Rodgers' side.

Chelsea did have a goal disallowed for offside in the 86th minute but in the end, Frank Lampard's men went back to London empty handed.

Leicester 0-1 Chelsea (FA Cup - June 26, 2020)
A sole goal from Ross Barkley helped Chelsea seal a place in the 2020 FA Cup semi-final.
Leicester enjoyed more goal attempts and created more dangerous attacks but ultimately, they came up short against a clinical Chelsea side.
The Blues ended up going all the way to the final however, they were unable to beat the Gunners at Wembley.

Chelsea need a goalscorer

Take a look at the Premier League's top 35 goalscorer this season. You'll see a lot of great names on that list from a variety of clubs… bar one.

Not a single Chelsea player is currently in the top 35 or even the top 40. In order to find the first Chelsea name, you have to go all the way down to number 45 where you will see Timo Werner and his tally of six league goals.

Timo Werner has struggled in front of goal

Those numbers simply aren't good enough. There are four Leicester players above Werner on that list and two of them aren't even strikers.
Chelsea failed to score a goal in successive games against Leicester. The Blues need to turn that around if they are to make the top four.

Less pressure on the Foxes

Leicester have already avoided their worst-case scenario; worst case being a defeat in the FA Cup final and missing out on the top four.
With a trophy in the cabinet, a top four finish and a place in next season's Champions League would simply be the icing on the cake.

Leicester lift FA Cup for the first time with victory over Chelsea

However, having got so far in this Premier League campaign, the Foxes will not want to throw their efforts away.
With that in mind, Chelsea can expect another hard-fought encounter at Stamford Bridge.

Goalscorer bets

If the Blues are to win this game, Mason Mount could be the man to seal the deal.
The England international has bagged six goals this season and has impressed with his recent performances.

He's currently priced at 16/5 to score anytime with Unibet.
