  • What Are Liverpool’S Chances Of Signing Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham, Darwin Nunez And More?

What are Liverpool’s chances of signing Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham, Darwin Nunez and more?

As Liverpool look to build on their successful 2021/22 season, the Reds have been linked with an abundance of names, but what are their chances of landing each target?

Liverpool came within touching distance of winning the quadruple this season, with the last two games of the calendar denying them the final two trophies up for grabs.
Still, Jurgen Klopp's side can be proud of their EFL Cup and FA Cup success, and there's no doubt they'll be back hunting more silverware this season.

But with Sadio Mane, Divock Origi and Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain among a host of names set to leave Anfield this summer, it could be a new-look Liverpool side on display in 2022/23.

The Merseyside club have already been linked with a host of stars this window, but what are their chances of landing their targets?

The favourites

With Mane confirming his desire to leave Anfield this summer, and cult hero Divock Origi also on his way out, attacking reinforcements are the obvious targets this summer.

Fulham's Fabio Carvalho is already confirmed to be joining the Reds, but Klopp is in the market for more attackers, and there are a few that have been heavily linked with a move.

One of which is Benfica's Darwin Nunez, who has enjoyed a stellar season in Portugal, scoring 32 goals in all competitions.

The promising 22-year-old is being linked with both Liverpool and Manchester United this summer, and the Reds are joint-favourites at 6/4 alongside the Red Devils - Newcastle are next at 12/1.

If Liverpool miss out on Nunez as their attacking option, Klopp could turn to Jarrod Bowen (4/1) or Serge Gnabry (4/1) as other options for his striking department.

Bowen has enjoyed a standout season for West Ham, scoring 15 in all competitions. Similarly, Gnabry has continued to impress at Bayern Munich, and netted 17 for the German side last season.

Jude Bellingham is another name on Liverpool's radar, with the highly-rated English star keen on playing in the Premier League at some point in his career.

Jude Bellingham, England
Currently at Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool would have to splash the cash to sign the 18-year-old this summer, but at 2/1 it can't be ruled out.

In the mix

Continuing the theme of attacking options, Harry Kane has been a surprise name mentioned alongside Liverpool in recent weeks.

The England captain saw his Manchester City move fall through last summer, and with the Citizens now employing Erling Haaland, his best chance of winning silverware could be in Merseyside.

Spurs finishing fourth could tempt the 28-year-old to stay in north London next season, but at 5/1, there's a 16.7% chance the striker could head swap the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for Anfield.

Leeds United's Raphinha was heavily linked with the Reds last summer, and the rumours have continued to rumble on this month, with the Brazilian now 6/1 to join Klopp's squad. However, Barcelona currently dominate the market for the talented winger, with the Catalan club priced at 1/2 to sign him.

Nunez and Kane are clearly Liverpool's top priority when it comes to buying an out-and-out striker, but Robert Lewandowski's exit from Bayern Munich has raised eyebrows.
Robert Lewandowski is rumoured to leave Bayern Munich this summer

Having previously worked with Klopp at Dortmund, Lewandowski's links to Merseyside may have some value after all - his odds of moving to the Reds sits at 8/1 - a shade over 11%.

Liverpool are second in the the betting to sign the Pole behind Barcelona, who are strong favourites at 1/2.

The outsiders

Kalvin Phillips could well join Raphinha in ditching Yorkshire for Merseyside.

The England international has become a major part of Gareth Southgate's plans and he won't want to risk his World Cup spot at relegation-threatened Leeds.

Premier League rivals Manchester City are favourites to land the 26-year-old at 4/7, but the bookies have given Liverpool an 7.7% chance of signing Phillips with odds of 12/1.

Also at those odds is Ousmane Dembele whose time at Barcelona looks to be up. He's another who has previously worked - and impressed - under Klopp, and despite signing for Barcelona for £100million back in 2017, he could be available for free this summer.

Declan Rice has been linked with a move away from West Ham for what seems like decades now, and it'll be worth keeping an eye on the 23-year-old again this summer.

Manchester United are favourites to land him at 3/1, with Chelsea at 5s, Man City at 9s and Liverpool getting a mention at 16/1.
Ivan Toney Brentford

Ivan Toney is another who is rated a 16/1 shot to join Liverpool in the window. The Brentford forward enjoyed a good debut season in the top flight, scoring 12 goals, and at just 26 he has plenty yet to offer.

The long shots

Could Liverpool start the new season with Paulo Dybala and Neymar? It's unlikely, but the bookies haven't ruled it out.

PSG seem to be pushing Neymar towards the exit at the Parc de Princes, and a Premier League move could be on the cards - Chelsea may be favourites at 7/1, but Liverpool are at least in with a shot at 22/1.

Paulo Dybala is 25/1 to sign for the Reds this summer, having announced his Juventus exit earlier this month. James Maddison is another attacking midfielder linked to Anfield, but at 20/1, it seems more likely he'll end up at Arsenal (7/1) should he leave Leicester this summer.

Liverpool fans would love nothing more than to have another excuse to taunt Manchester United supporters, and signing their No.1 target Frenkie de Jong would provide it. The Dutchman is 33/1 to snub United and end up at Liverpool this summer.

Christian Eriksen has a number of offers on the table after impressing during his Brentford stint. Tottenham are favourites to re-sign the Denmark international (6/4), but Liverpool are also thought to be interested and are available at a juicy 25/1.
