What are Leeds United’s chances of signing Adama Traore, Harry Winks, Aaron Ramsey and others?

Leeds United are being linked with a host of names in the summer transfer window. But what are their chances of landing them?

Jesse Marsch has already been pretty active in the summer window, bringing in Tyler Adams, Brenden Aaronson, Rasmus Kristensen, Marc Roca and Darko Gyabi for a combined cost of close to £70million.

That has been offset by the loss of Kalvin Phillips, who brought in somewhere in the region of £50million following his move to Manchester City.

But with Marsch keen to stamp his mark on the Leeds team, there is still business to be done.

The West Yorkshire side have been priced up in the market for 15 more deals this summer. Planet Sport looks at how likely they are to come off.

The contenders

The fact that Leeds are favourites to sign Adama Traore is indicative of his spell at Barcelona last season. The Wolves winger made a promising start, assisting in both of his first two La Liga games and featuring in the first five. However, he didn't start another league game until the final day of the campaign and even then was replaced just short of the hour-mark.

A further two Europa League assists couldn't persuade Barca to make the deal permanent and, according to the bookies, Leeds are at the head of the queue for his services.
Odds of 7/2 suggest there is a 22.2% probability Traore ends up at Elland Road this window.
Barcelona are next best at 4/1, with Tottenham at 5s.
United are second favourites to land two other Premier League stars who endured underwhelming seasons last time out.

With opportunities diminishing at Tottenham, Harry Winks had long seemed destined for Everton. And while the Toffees still remain 5/2 favourites to sign the England international, a lack of progress on the deal has seen Leeds shorten to 5/1 to land the midfielder.

Danny Ings, meanwhile, looks surplus to requirements at Villa Park. Brighton (4/1) head the market here, but Leeds (6/1) are Everton (7/1) are not without their chances.

Despite only scoring six goals for Southampton last season, the 20-year-old is not without his admirers. Everton and West Ham are currently battling it for favouritism at 2/1, with Newcastle United 5s and Leeds priced at 6/1 - a 14/3% chance of landing the Albania international.

The outsiders

Such is the radical overhaul needed at Leeds following their brush with relegation last time out that it seems only Illan Meslier's position is safe come 2022/23.
Wingers Dwight McNeil and Ryan Kent are both 14/1 shots to join up with Jesse Marsch's side before the window closes. However, Kent is favourite to reunite with Steven Gerrard at Aston Villa (2/1), while there is interest in McNeil from Everton (4/1), West Ham (4/1) and Fulham (7/1) among others.
Midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White is also 14/1 to join up with Leeds. The Wolves midfielder enjoyed a successful loan spell at Sheffield United last season and is a key target for Nottingham Forest (3/1), although it is Crystal Palace (7/4) who are favoured in the betting.
Manchester City's Oleksandr Zinchenko could prove a ready-made replacement for Phillips, though at 16/1 it seems unlikely.

Maxwel Cornet's future is still unresolved, with the battle for the Burnley winger's signature looking to be a three-way battle between Chelsea (7/2), Everton (9/2) and Newcastle (9/2). Leeds are not without hope, though, at 16/1.

The long shots

Another relegated striker is also the subject of much interest in the window, with Ismaila Sarr's options now appearing to be between West Ham (13/8) and Newcastle (9/2). Nevertheless, at 22/1, there is thought to be nearly a 5% chance of Leeds picking up the Senegal forward.
The summer arrival of Aaron Ramsey is priced at 20/1, while moves for Conor Gallagher and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are thought to have even less chance of success, with both players priced at 33/1 to join United.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka is also 33/1 to join Leeds, with the chances of United stealing Ajax winger Antony from under the noses of Manchester United (4/5) rated at 40/1.
