West Ham’s Europa Conference League path revealed! Irons to face Danish test or Faroe Island minnows

The Europa Conference League draw has been made, with West Ham avoiding some of the big guns in the play-off qualifying round.

David Moyes' side could've drawn Istanbul Basaksehir, Young Boys, Slavia Prague or Belgian giants Anderlecht.

Instead, West Ham will face the winner of a qualifying clash between Viborg FF and B36 Torshavn.
The Premier League outfit sealed their place in the competition after finishing seventh last season.
Moyes' side ended up just two points short of Manchester United, who will compete in the Europa League.

West Ham's two-legged play-off will begin on August 18, and face a trip to either Denmark or the Faroe Islands for the rematch seven days later.

Should they triumph over the two-legged play-off, West Ham would qualify for the group stage, which will be drawn on Friday, August 26 and begin on September 8.

Elsewhere, Villarreal will take on the winner of Croatia's Hajduk Split or Portugal's Vitoria.

German side 1. FC Koln have been drawn against Hungary's Fehervar or Moldova's Petrocub-Hincesti.
Should Dundee United progress past Dutch outfit AZ Alkmaar, they will take on Latvia's Riga or Portugal's Gil Vicente.
Northern Ireland's Linfield face a big test against Switzerland's FC Zurich, and a victory will be rewarded with a clash against Latvia's RFS or Maltese outfit Hibernians FC.
