West Brom boss Carlos Corberan urges Baggies to improve away form on eve of Hull City clash

West Brom will be looking to reinvigorate their play-off hopes when they travel to Hull City this Friday night.

The Baggies are currently 11th in the Championship and sit six points adrift of the play-off places following a patchy run of form.

The biggest problem for manager Carlos Corberan is the team's recent away form. West Brom have lost four straight games on the road, conceding 10 goals along the way.

Last weekend's 2-0 home victory over promotion chasing Middlesbrough took the Baggies back to winning ways. The Championship outfit will now be looking to record their first win away from the Hawthorns since January.

"It's very, very important we start picking up victories away from home," Corberan told the club website.
"Middlesbrough is part of the past and we are looking forward to the next game, which is Hull City on Friday night.
"We have to approach the game with the highest level of commitment, motivation and dedication if we want to achieve the result we want to achieve.
"In some of the away games we have performed well enough to achieve something better, but, in some of the games, we didn't perform well enough to earn anything.
"In some of our recent away games we haven't adapted well enough to the intensity or the tactical possibilities of the game.

"We have to learn from these situations and change this negative momentum away from home. We always have the motivation to go to our next game and improve on the things we didn't do so well in the last match."

When asked about the challenge posed by their Yorkshire opponents, Corberan added: "Hull City are a very competitive and combative team.
"They have a clear way of playing. They have their way of attacking and defending, but we have our way too.
"We want to go there and pick up three points. That is our only intention."
