WATCH: Classic Tyler Roberts, Mateusz Klich and Marcelo Bielsa moment against Aston Villa
In the wake of Leeds United’s relegation, Planet Sport takes a look back at Mateusz Klich’s controversial goal against Aston Villa, sparking utter chaos.
Leeds welcomed Aston Villa to Elland Road for their final home game of the 2018/19 Championship season.
In what was expected to be a preview of the upcoming play-off final (spoiler: that didn't happen), we were given an instant EFL classic, if only for this one moment.
Jonathan Kodija went down in the middle of the pitch and the Whites looked set to kick the ball out. Everyone froze.
Apart from Tyler Roberts, who casually played the ball down the line to a marauding Mateusz Klich.
Klich carried the ball forward and expertly cut inside and bent a screamer into the bottom right corner.
Chaos ensued, a red card was waved and Marcelo Bielsa ordered his side to allow Aston Villa to score.
Pontus Jansson was having none of it and did his best to tackle Albert Adomah, before the hardest man to play for Leeds since Norman Hunter, Gaetano Berardi, put him in his place.
Watch below as the goal sparked outrage, capped by an Anwar El Ghazi red card and a gifted equaliser courtesy of Marcelo Bielsa.
