Wales manager Craig Bellamy during the UEFA Nations League clash with Turkey

Craig Bellamy can continue his unbeaten start to life as Wales manager when they face Liechtenstein in Cardiff on Friday night (1945 BST).

Poor old Liechtenstein and their seemingly endless quest not to be one of the whipping boys of Europe. Although as one of the world's richest countries they are anything but poor.

Wales always say they are a small footballing nation, but compared to 40,000 population Liechtenstein, tucked neatly between Switzerland and Austria, they are giant.

So this should be a comfortable stroll to three points for Wales, before they have to face a much stiffer test in Belgium on Monday night.

Wales are unbeaten in their previous eight matches, all under Bellamy, while Liechtenstein have lost four on the bounce, one of them at home to San Marino, who are the worst-ranked international team in the FIFA World rankings.

Let's see what winning tips we can conjure for this World Cup Group J qualifier, which, put into a Betway bet builder, can collect odds of around 12/1.

Aron Sele to be booked - 23/10

    Wales win to nil

Wales are hot favourites to win this one and the odds are far too skinny, so add a bit of jeopardy into the bet by having the Dragons earn the victory to nil.

Liechtenstein have only scored once in the last five, and that was against San Marino back in November last year.

In three matches, Wales have never lost to Liechtenstein and have never conceded a goal, granted all of those games were in the 2000s when Craig Bellamy was playing up front.

Wales over 1.5 first half goals

I usually always swerve bets that could be over by half-time, as they can be a real fun crusher if they go awry.

However, over 1.5 goals has a certain charm given Wales' attacking intent under Bellamy, and Liechtenstein are all over the shop defensively.

The Blue-Reds, a feeble nickname to match a feeble team, let in two first half goals in their last two World Cup qualifiers against Kazakhstan and North Macedonia.

Wales have scored at least one goal in the first half in five of their last seven matches; three of those games saw the Dragons net twice before the break.

    Johnson to score anytime

Considering how awful Tottenham have been this season, Brennan Johnson still managed to score 18 goals across all competitions. Including the worst goal ever scored in a European Cup final, even though it probably should have gone down as an og.

Johnson has only scored five goals in 35 appearances for Wales, and is yet to score for the Dragons this year, so will be itching to break his duck and this is a great opportunity to get on the scoresheet.

    Over 2.5 cards

Just as night follows day, the weaker European international sides always park the bus against stronger nations, and that always results in time wasting and nibbly little fouls that get under everyone's skin.

Over 2.5 cards has landed in two of Liechtenstein's last three games, but Wales are no angels either.

It also has been successful in two of their last three. The 4-1 win over Iceland match in November saw a whopping eight in total.

    Aron Sele to be booked

Vaduz's defensive midfielder Aron Sele doesn't get much of a run out for his club side, but is a regular for his country and has been booked six times in his last 11 games. Put him down for another on Friday night.

Good luck and please gamble responsibly.
