Transfer Zone: West Ham target Chelsea man and Spurs moving out another defender
Chelsea seem to have deals happening and collapsing all over the place right now, but West Ham have picked things up. It's all a lot less clear for Spurs and Arsenal, though.
World Cup what?
We have completed the loan signing of 2018 FIFA World Cup winner Alphonse Areola from Paris Saint-Germain with the option to make the transfer permanent in the summer of 2022 #AA13

Kurt wants Premier League stay
Chelsea were hoping to use Zouma as a makeweight in their deal for Jules Kounde, but the Frenchman seems to prefer London to sunny Seville.
Zouma actually played more games of France's 2018 World Cup campaign than Areola, and he wasn't even in the squad for the finals, so almost want this deal to come off just to see how the West Ham media team describe him.
West Ham in talks to sign Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma. West Ham prepared to pay £20m - below Chelsea's valuation. Zouma settled in London and - as it stands - would welcome the move ahead of being part of a potential swap deal involving Sevilla's Jules Kounde. #WHUFC #CFC #Zouma

One season and out for Ziyech
Are Chelsea already looking to give up on Hakim Ziyech?
🗞 Reports in Italy say AC Milan explored a loan with option to buy deal for Hakim Ziyech, but Chelsea will only agree to a permanent deal or a loan with an obligation to buy. pic.twitter.com/I3Vd7bBcsj

Secret Spurs stopper stash?
Do Tottenham have more defenders than we know about? They have just lost Toby Alderweireld and it looks like they going to let another one go too.
🚨 | Tottenham have received an offer from Turkish side Galatasaray to take young defender Japhet Tanganga on a season-long loan. However, #Spurs would prefer the England U21 international to head out on loan to a British club to aid his development.

Gunner be disappointed?
If you're James Maddison, are you betting you're bright future and exciting present at Leicester right now on Arsenal?
We're told that Bruno is in fact a plan C should Arsenal fail in their bid to get their priority targets. #Arsenal are still working on signing James Maddison this summer with Martin Odegaard as plan B. #AFC #Transfer

Gunner cave in?
It's no secret that Newcastle want to sign Joe Willock this summer, but it seems like the deal depends on Mike Ashley spending money or Arsenal holding their nerve.
Arsenal want a sale … they then use the money on players they are after … they want 30 … see what they take by the end of window. If you can wait that long. https://t.co/XDiN2itYkh

Never gonna happen
This Newcastle fan appears to be being entirely reasonable in his transfer hopes for this summer, but given they will all involve Mike Ashley doing something, it feels like they'd might as well go back to dreaming about Mbappe.
