Transfer Zone: Doncaster fans fume as wrong paperwork denies deal
The summer transfer window is done and there was some late drama, especially in League One.
Aiden O'Brien
Confident of confirming the deal, Sunderland sent the wrong form to Doncaster for O'Brien and by the time they had amended it, deadline day had passed.
Demoralising… next Wellens will be stepping down. #drfc #BaldwinOut

Can the fans can contact the board Liam? If the club is truly running low on funds then we need more transparency. Help us understand! The way it’s been run at the moment is an embarrassment to all the fans. No ambition what so ever and they expect us fans to pay to watch this?

I have a couple of questions for Gavin.

Why was the funds not made available 2 weeks ago? Also he is a significant shareholder in the club. So how much does he put in?

LEAGUE ONE IS TERRIFIED
Saul Niguez
Saul Niguez will be playing at Stamford Bridge this season. The midfielder moves from Atletico Madrid on a loan deal which could be made permanent next summer.
The question is, where does he fit in at Chelsea? Either way, leave N'Golo Kante alone.
Why not even Pep formation means Walker tuck in and plays in a back 3 when needed and Rodri or Fernandinho as DM. In chelsea we have Jorginho who sits deep while Kante have license to go forward.

Antoine Griezmann
Barcelona have continued the trend of selling their best players on deadline day. Two years after leaving for £107million to Barca, Griezmann has rejoined Atletico. They have an agreement on bringing him back permanently for £34.4million.

Salomon Rondon
Is Rafael Benitez trying to become the new Harry Redknapp?
Saloman Rondo to Rafa Benitez is what Crouchy and Niko Kranjčar was to Harry Redknapp #TransferWindow #everton

Didn't happen
Andy Carroll
Linked with Reading, the former England international was unable to agree on terms. Spurs fans, what's your thoughts?
Hot take: Spurs should take a look at Andy Carroll. English so no homegrown issues. Offers something different. Could be this years (admittedly made of glass) Llorente.
