Tottenham boss Antonio Conte brands Bayern Munich ‘disrespectful‘ over Harry Kane comments

Tottenham manager Antonio Conte has hit back at German champions Bayern Munich over publicly declaring interest in striker Harry Kane.

Julian Nagelsmann, manager of the Bavarians, admitted that the England forward would score "a lot of goals in the Bundesliga" but acknowledged that the finances behind such move would be "tough".

Kane will be out of contract in the summer of 2024 and the talk over his future is already beginning to heat up.
One man who is not happy with Nagelsmann's comments is current Spurs boss Conte.
The Italian, who watched his side pick up a 2-1 victory over last year's Europa League finalists Rangers, hit back at the German outfit.
"Honestly I didn't hear this," he said after the match. "For sure I'm a coach that doesn't speak about players from another team.
"The situation Is very clear at Tottenham and Harry is a very important part of the project. Only rumours but I don't like to talk about players from another club.
"If I want to do something I don't do it through the media. Maybe that's a bit disrespectful for the other club."
The 28-year-old has scored 248 goals in 386 games for the club across all competitions.
Kane also scored both of Tottenham's goals away at Ibrox as Conte's men powered to their second pre-season win from three games.
The North London outfit remain unbeaten, having earlier drawn against Sevilla and picked up a 6-3 win over the K-League Stars.
Spurs will take on AS Roma next Saturday in Israel, with Jose Mourinho set to take on his former employers.
