Teemu Pukki could join MLS side managed by ex-Everton striker Adrian Heath

According to numerous reports, Teemu Pukki could be on his way to Major League Soccer.

According to numerous sources including the MLS website, Minnesota United hold a firm interest in acquiring Teemu Pukki on a free transfer.
The Finnish hitman will become a free agent in July having played his final game for Norwich City.

He joined on a free transfer and went on to score 88 goals for the club and his potential new suitors will hope they're bagging a similar bargain.

Manager Adrian Heath knows a thing or two about finding the net as he scored 71 times during a six-year spell in which he lifted the FA Cup at Everton.

His side sit 10th in the MLS Western Conference standings and they rank as the third lower scorers.

At 33 years of age, Pukki has netted over 200 goals and would surely add a new dimension to their attack.

The MLS club have recently offloaded their main striker, Luis Amarilla, who has departed for Liga MX side Mazatlan FC.

Amarilla was paid a healthy salary as a designated player and his departure has opened the door for Pukki's arrival.
The move has flown under the radar so far but could be finalised in the coming weeks with a formal announcement coming in July.
