Social Zone: Steven Gerrard helps Liverpool’s quadruple hopes, plus tennis star goes crazy in Rome

Liverpool kept their Premier League title hopes alive with a 2-1 victory over Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa.

The Reds picked up a vital 2-1 win at Villa Park as goals from Joel Matip and Sadio Mane overturned an early deficit.

The result moved Jurgen Klopp's men level on points with Manchester City, meaning the Reds still have a narrow window of opportunity should the Citizens slip up in their remaining three games of the season.

Following the match, one man who wasn't particularly impressed with the officiating was Villa boss Steven Gerrard.

The Premier League and England legend showed no remorse in the post-match press conference, as he took a shot at the retiring Jon Moss.
While Gerrard cut a frustrated figure after the match, deep down he must be thrilled about the result.

Just take a quick pause and think about this record-breaking attendance of 70,000+ for tonight's FA Youth Cup final between Manchester United and Nottingham Forest.

To put that into context, there were only 56,000 fans for Barcelona's La Liga game last night against Celta Vigo. Incredible.

Ross Smith lit up the latest Players Championship event with the most casual of nine-darters. Did we mention it was the opening leg of a first-round match?

Denis Shapovalov lost his cool with the official, lost his cool with the umpire, and lost his last remaining bit of cool with the crowd.

In case you were wondering, he won in straight sets!
