Social Zone: Lionel Messi leads Diego Maradona tributes; LeBron James takes a huff

It was Argentina's first match since the death of Diego Maradona, and they made sure they paid their tributes.

Soccer: While all soccer statues always mean well, they don't always hit the right spot. In fact, we'd so so far as saying that they usually get it completely wrong.
However, this one is not only richly deserved, but also kudos to the scultpure for actually getting it right too.
The statue wasn't the only tribute paid to the legend in Argentina's first match since his death, either. The '1960-eternity' was an especially nice touch.
It was Lionel Messi who perhaps paid the most timeless tribute though, and in a way that only he can: With footballing brilliance.
Soccer: We shouldn't need an excuse to watch some Lukas Podolski screamers, but it's always nice to have one anyway, right?
Soccer: We are thinking it was probably a good week to work for Manchester City...
NBA: The Lakers were eliminated from the play-offs, and Lebron James was in no mood for hanging around for pleasantries or to offer his congratulations to the victors. Should the star have been bigger than that?
Snooker: Petition for Shaun Murphy to start doing this in matches when he hears his walk-on music too...
