Social Zone: Koeman to be replaced by... Solskjaer, while Bayern crumble to Monchengladbach

Koeman was finally shown the door by Barcelona after a 1-0 loss to Rayo Vallecano, but could he be part of a swap deal with Solskjaer? Elsewhere, Bayern are humiliated and Origi scores a worldie.

SOCCER: Of course, Wednesday's biggest news was that Ronald Koeman was finally sacked by Barcelona. Remember this old quote? It didn't age too well...

SOCCER: However the most outrageous statement of the day goes to this tweet, suggesting Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should be part of an outlandish swap deal with Ronald Koeman.

However, with the way both Manchester United and Barcelona are ran these days, I wouldn't even rule it out.

SOCCER: Is that really... a cause for celebration?
SOCCER: And, speaking of cards, this is one of the most bizarre red cards ever. Maybe VAR isn't that bad after all.

SOCCER: Ah, so it turns out Paul Pogba does know how to deny false stories, just not apparently when it involves Mino Raiola... interesting.

SOCCER: Another footballing giant humiliated. And just to make it worse, Bayern played their strongest XI.

SOCCER: Divock 'League Cup' Origi was back on form last night, scoring a goal arguably worthy of a Puskas award.
SOCCER: We don't see anyone beating this anytime soon. And Warnock still looks like he's got a few years in him yet.
TENNIS: Andy Murray may have ended up on the losing side last night, but he can at least take pride from this rally. Incredible stuff.
