Everton really are in a relegation battle, Dele Alli receives a great reception on his return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Harry Kane overtakes Thierry Henry's goal tally.

Rafael Benitez got sacked and Everton fans were delighted.

Finally, agent Rafa had gone, Frank Lampard got appointed and the only way was up - or so it seemed.

Four defeats in their last five Premier League games have the Toffees sitting one point above the drop in 17th place. And Monday's defeat to Tottenham was the worst performance yet under Lampard.

The goalkeeper made an unforced error for the second goal, they had no shots on target and Everton shipped in five goals.

But hey, Frank is here to remind us that he doesn't have a magic wand.

Lampard was quick to reassure the media that 'the fans were buying into what we are doing' following the 5-0 humiliation. But one fan certainly isn't...

He said: "Lampard failed at Chelsea, failed at Derby and now he's failing with us. We've got to sack him now!"

Now that's understandable but what happens next is just ridiculous.
Dele Alli made his return to Tottenham for the first time since departing the club in January.

Hugo Lloris showed his class by ensuring Dele got the farewell he never had at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. You can see what it means to him.

Harry Kane appears back to his best after scoring a brace against Everton. The two goals mean he is now above Thierry Henry on the all-time Premier League goals list.

There is a good chance he could overtake Wayne Rooney but he remains some 84 goals away from Alan Shearer's record.
Dejan Kulusevski is having quite the impact since joining Tottenham from Juventus.
He provided two assists during their win over Everton, becoming just the third Spurs player to do so this season.
The more performances the Swede can put in like this, the less we have to hear Antonio Conte's bizarre post-match interviews.
