Sergino Dest joins PSV on season-long loan from Barcelona

FC Barcelona and PSV Eindhoven have reached an agreement for the loan of the player Sergiño Dest until 30 June 2024.

Sergiño Dest will return to his homeland on loan to PSV Eindhoven from FC Barcelona.

The Dutch club has an option to make the transfer permanent. FC Barcelona reserves the right to a percentage of any future sale of the player.
The Netherlands-born USA international makes a loan move away from the Blaugranes for the second season in a row after spending 2022/23 with Italian club AC Milan. This season he will return to the Netherlands where he previously played for Ajax Amsterdam before joining FC Barcelona in 2020. This time he will be making the move back to his country of birth to play for PSV Eindhoven.
Dest has made 72 appearances as a Barça player, 56 as a starter, scoring three times in the two seasons he has spent as part of the first team. After his season in Serie A he will be returning to the Eredivisie where he will link up with his former Barça teammate Luuk de Jong.
