PSG clash with Real Madrid in the Club World Cup semi-finals on Wednesday, and Planet Sport have picked out the best bets, including a 2/1 anytime goalscorer selection.

New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium hosts a true heavyweight clash this Wednesday as Paris Saint-Germain take on Real Madrid in the Club World Cup semi-final (2000 BST).

The reigning European champions face the most decorated club in world football with a place in the final at stake — and with both sides arriving in red-hot form, this promises to be one of the ties of the tournament.

PSG made light work of Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals, despite finishing with just nine men. Goals from Desire Doue and Ousmane Dembele sealed a 2-0 win, extending an incredible run that has seen Luis Enrique’s side keep four clean sheets in five matches.

Their only slip-up came in the group stage against Botafogo, but that’s done little to slow their momentum. The French champions have now beaten Atletico Madrid, Seattle Sounders, Inter Miami and Bayern by an aggregate score of 12-1.

Real Madrid, meanwhile, needed to dig deep to overcome Borussia Dortmund in the last eight. A dramatic 3-2 victory was sealed by goals from Gonzalo Garcia, Fran Garcia and a late strike from Kylian Mbappe despite a nervy finish and red card for Dean Huijsen.

Xabi Alonso’s side had previously seen off Juventus and topped a tricky group, and with Vinicius Jr, Jude Bellingham and Garcia all in form, they certainly won’t fear the Parisians.

Here, we take a closer look at the fixture and pick out some of the best bets along the way.

PSG v Real Madrid best bets

    PSG to win – 13/10

    Over 3.5 goals – 29/20

Gonzalo Garcia to score – 2/1

Goal to be scored in both halves – 3/5

Good luck and please gamble responsibly.

Goals have followed both of these teams throughout the tournament, and with so much attacking talent on show, we’re expecting another high-scoring clash in New Jersey.

Real Madrid have scored at least two goals in nine of their last eleven matches, while PSG have bagged twelve in five Club World Cup appearances, despite that figure including one goalless defeat.

Over 3.5 goals appeals at 29/20, especially given that two of the last three meetings between these sides have hit four goals or more.

As for a goalscorer, Gonzalo Garcia continues to impress. The 21-year-old has struck four times already in this tournament — three of those as the first goal of the match and at 2/1, he’s great value to find the net again.

Lastly, we’re backing PSG to come through a test of their credentials. They’re the form team in Europe, boast a loaded midfield and forward line, and even with defensive suspensions, they look more settled than Madrid right now.
